treatment for knee pain

treatment for knee pain

Knee pain is no joke and I know first hand how painful it to deal with all the time. I deal with while I go bowling and go to the gym. My I have Osteoarthritis in my knees and it sucks. I had to learn how to deal with my knee pain and I had tried a lot of things to treat it and in this blog post I will give you ways on treating knee pain.

These are just some of the supplements I take to help with knee pain. The first one is that I use is called Black seed oil. Black seed oil is an anti-inflammatory and an anti-viral supplement that helps with knee pain and 101 other things that can help you with your body. Black seed also helps with weight loss. since most of joint pain is caused by inflammation, it makes a perfect natural remedy for it. The next treatment I take is called glucosamine. Glucosamine is primarily sold as a joint health supplement. Studies show that supplementing glucosamine sulfate will reduce the rate of collagen (joint tissue) degradation and symptoms of osteoarthritis. Though glucosamine is comparable to acetaminophen, the reference drug for osteoarthritis, in potency, it is not as reliable. I use glucosamine for pain and help rebuild the cartilage in my knee. The next treatment I take is Fish oi. Fish oil is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids (including EPA and DHA), which block inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandins; they are converted by the body into powerful anti-inflammatory chemicals called resolvins. Fish oil also lowers blood triglyceride (fats that circulate in the bloodstream, protecting against heart disease and reducing high blood pressure. A 2010 meta-analysis found that fish oil significantly decreased joint tenderness and stiffness in RA patients and reduced or eliminated NSAID use. Preliminary studies indicate it may have a similar effect on osteoarthritis. A 2005 study of people with RA showed enhanced positive effects when fish oil supplements were used in combination with olive oil. Olive leaf extract is an especially good source of the anti-cancer compounds apigenin and luteolin, and is a source of the anti-malarial agent cinchonine. And oleuropein has also shown protective capabilities against breast cancer. Olive leaf extract also acts as an anti-inflammatory. Cortisone injections are among the most commonly used treatments in orthopedics. Cortisone is a powerful anti-inflammatory medication that reduces the inflammatory response of many painful conditions. … Cortisone can cause joint and cartilage damage. Cortisone can lead to tendon rupture. Don’t get this cortisone shots and take these supplements for better treatment.
