How often are shoes cleaned at bowling alleys?

The bowling alley is a fun place to have fun but is it a clean place? Do bowling alleys clean their bowling shoes that they rent to people? Well the answer may scare you but here’s my answer and my answer is based on what I see while I am at the bowling alley and not every bowling alley do these things.

So while I bowl in my bowling leagues I see people paying for their games to play and the staff hands them their bowling shoes they rented and then they bowl. After they bowl and return their bowling ball and bowling shoes, I have seen the staff spray anti fungal spray inside the shoe and sometimes they may wipe down the shoes after every use. Some bowling alleys can provide you some throw away socks to wear with your shoes. But that’s all I have seen so far.

How to stay clean while wearing rented shoes from the bowling alley?

One way is to wear clean socks while wearing rented bowling shoes. Clean socks will be your best bet just in case you do get nasty shoes, your feet will be good to go. Bring your own  disinfectant spray so you can spray yourself before and after you use the bowling shoes. The best thing you do is buy your own bowling shoes. Owning your own pair of bowling shoes you save you money from not renting shoes from the bowling alley but you know their your shoes. Bowling shoes tend to last longer than your everyday cause you only wear your bowling shoes when you bowl. YOU SHOULD NOT BE WEARING YOUR BOWLING SHOES OUTSIDE THE BOWLING ALLEY, THAT CAN MESS THEM UP.
