You should replace your bowling ball when it’s cracked, damage or you can use the ball anymore. Over time bowling balls for some weird reason cracks and cannot be fixed in a bowling shop. You must replace the bowling ball. I have had a few bowling balls crack and the only thing I see is that if you leave the bowling ball on the floor unused for a long time like 6 to 7 months without being bowled with, it starts to crack. If it’s still good then still use it. If you don’t clean your bowling ball, over time the ball will suck up the oil on the floor and over time the ball will hook less and less. So cleaning your bowling ball is very important. If you want the best cleaning solution you can click here for the best one and the best wipe to wipe the ball with. Also over time bowling with the same ball for say 3 or more years, you may want a new bowling ball. Once you master one ball and you know what it can do and what it can’t do, you may want to invest into another bowling ball. Now if you have a bowling ball for a long time and it’s still striking, keep it and keep using it. When your fingertips start to come loose and it falls out, all you have to do is use some bowling super glue. So replacing your bowling should be done when the ball starts cracking, it’s gets old, you feel it time to move on from that ball, when you just want something new or you can’t throw the bowling ball.

These are just some of the reason why I would replace my bowling ball. Now if you are going to replace your bowling ball and get have much money, what you can do is use apps like Craig’s list, offer up and eBay and see who are selling bowling balls. Offer up is good cause most of the bowling balls may cost $40 bucks or less and all you have to pay for is the bowling shop to make the ball fit your hand, you can change the layout or keep the layout that came with the ball.  To make new finger tips may cost $30 to $40 so it’s cheaper than buying a new ball. Most bowling shop sell used bowling balls so check them out when you get a chance. If you know any other bowlers, they may be selling their bowling balls. That’s how I got some of mine bowling balls from fellow bowlers that didn’t want the ball cause he didn’t like how the ball rolled and I asked him to sell the ball for $40 bucks.
