Yes I very much enjoy watching bowling and watching bowling on TV is great way to learn more about bowling. I see what is the hot bowling ball that the pros are using. I can their release and how they bowl on different oil patterns.
I watch for the moves the pros make when it’s time to move from where they are bowling on. If you think about, anyone who plays a any sports will pretty much watch it on Tv like football and basketball because since they play the sport, they can see things that people who don’t play the sport would not see.
In bowling I watch the pro bowling speed, everyone bowls different buy if you can find a pro bowler who bowls like you, you can try things that try. I look for different hands positions when the pro starts moving left or right to change how to ball roll. These little things that I see, some people will not see but I bowl, I can see them and I learn different tips from watching TV and when I see different things, I try them for myself to see if that works for me.
