Is bowling a sport? Hell yeah it’s a sport and a very hard sport to play and master. I think of bowling like golf where it’s skill, and mental toughness. you must put the bowling ball in the right place at the right time every time just like golf. When you play golf you must hit the golf ball with skill and accuracy to out the ball in the right place. I think of bowling like being a quarterback in the NFL. A quarterback must scan the defense(bowling we scan the lane) then they throw the ball to the right person at the right time( We roll the ball in the right place at the right time is the ball can hit the pocket on time).
Bowling is a sport of skill and mental skill set you must have to good. You can be a pro bowler and make money doing just that. I can be on TV and the biggest stages making TV shows and you get to travel all over the world. Unlike football and basketball you can bowl for a very long time and it’s fun. No it’s not as big as football and basketball or baseball but bowling is a one person sport that there is no defense in bowling. I think bowling is more of a fun sport than baseball. Bowling will not take all day to finish and bowling is all year sport is there is no off season for bowling which you can watch bowling all the time. The pro bowlers out there is making 6 figures or more and get to travel the world. Unlike football and basketball you chances of getting hurt is not big compared to the other sports. When is the last time you heard of a pro bowler tearing a ACL or get knocked out of a game. Even Tiger Woods had to get back surgery. Bowling is a real sport.
