Yes bowling can be an moderate exercise that you can do for one hour and it beats juts sitting at home. It’s better if you can bowl by yourself because you can bowl faster and keep your heart rate up. bowling 4 to 5 games can take some time and getting and down, throwing a heavy bowling ball can be some moderate exercise. I took a year off from bowling and when I started back in a league, the first game my body was sore. My back, wrist and legs were sore because I have not bowl in so long and those muscles I was not using during the time off so yeah I was sore. With bowling, you will be using parts of your body that you would not normally use every day. The game thing is that you can bowl 2 per week and join a bowling league as well to bowl with other people.
