How to bowl with a house ball?

If you don’t have your own bowling balls chances are that you have to use the bowling balls that are at the bowling alley and they are house ball.  house bowling balls is plastic bowling balls for people to use for bowling. House bowling balls are great for single pin shares but that’s it.

The old school of thinking is that you roll the ball down the middle of the lane to get a strike which sometimes it works but most times it doesn’t work and will let more splits than everything. How do I bowl with a house ball.

How do I bowl with a house ball:

First thing I would do is learn how to bowl straight with the ball. in order to bowl straight you must 1. Keep your arm straight as you are let go of the bowl. 2. Don’t turn your wrist. 3. Follow through your shot. 4. Use the arrows on the floor to aim better. 5. Get a heavy bowling ball for better pin carry. Those are the ways to bowl with a house ball but the best tip of all that people don’t use is the arrows on the lane.

The arrows:

Some people don’t even use the arrows on the lane. Using the arrows will help your game so much. By rolling the ball across the arrows will help making your shots more accurate. I use arrows when I bowl and when I teach people who uses a house ball to use the arrows, their game gets so much better. Using the arrows is my number one tip for anyone.

Get a heavier bowling ball:

I see some people use a lighter ball when bowling. The problem with the lighter ball and I am taking about 12 pounds to 14 pounds is that when it hits the pins, it’s not heavy enough to knock down all the pins and if you don’t roll the ball hard enough sometimes the ball will bounce off the pins. Try using a 14 pound ball if you can and up. The heavier the ball, the more it will knock down.

These are just a few tips on bowling on how to use a house ball. the best thing you can do is use your own ball so you don’t have to worry about the house ball.
